Very Berry Popsicles are a perfect healthy alternative if you are craving some ice cream during hot summer days. They are sugar free, dairy free, gluten free, vegan, and extremely delicious!
In my previous post, I mentioned that I wanted to incorporate more healthy dessert recipes on this blog. Don’t get me wrong, I still will share many traditional dessert recipes with lots of butter and sugar (I will never be able to live without it!). However, I’d also like to show that there are healthy lower calorie alternatives which still taste delicious, for those who loves sweets.

My Very Berry popsicles are creamy, refreshing, and nutritious. All you need are four ingredients: bananas, frozen mixed berries, almond milk, and chia seeds. Blend it all together and freeze. It literally will take you under 5 minutes to prepare 10 delicious sugar free popsicles. These will be a great summer treat for both, children and adults!
There are a few ways on how you can prepare the popsicles recipe, either as a smoothie or an ice cream. All you need to do is change the amount of added milk. For smoothie, add more milk to make the mixture runnier, while a frozen ice consistency will require less milk.
In addition, there are many ways on how to make popsicles healthy. I like to add chia seeds, as they provide so many nutrients and antioxidants. If you want to add more sweetness, just and a little bit of honey or maple syrup.
