Step 1.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, sifted cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Step 2.

In a separate large bowl, add chopped baking chocolate and cubed butter. You can melt it by putting in microwave or over a double boiler.

Step 3.

When melted, let it cool off for a few minutes, then add granulated sugar and light brown sugar and mix well.

Step 4.

Then add eggs and vanilla extract and mix again until smooth consistency.

Step 5.

Add dry ingredients, and using a spatula, mix it together until combined. Then refrigerate the dough.

Step 6.

Using a 1 ½ tbsp ice cream scoop, scoop out the dough and roll it in the balls, then place on the prepared baking sheet, keeping 3 inches apart. Bake.
