Ingredients

  • 2 pound Hatfield® Uncured Ham
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tabblespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon bourbon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together brown sugar, maple syrup, orange juice and zest, your favorite bourbon, and a pinch of salt.
  • Line a baking sheet with foil and place the ham on top.
  • Score the ham with diagonal cuts, creating a grid pattern, about ½ inch apart and ¼ inch dip.
  • Using a baking brush, brush the ham with ⅓ of the glaze.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, then take the ham out and glaze again with ⅓ of the glaze. Continue baking.
  • Take it out of the oven and glaze again about 5 minutes before the ham is done and reached 140°F.
