Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs

Easy to peel hard boiled eggs cooked in Instant Pot, using foolproof 5-5-5 method.

Ingredients

  • 6-12 large eggs
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Pour a cup of water in Instant Pot and place a trivet inside.
  • Place eggs on top of the trivet in one layer.
  • Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes.
  • When done, let the pressure naturally release for 5 minutes, then manually release the pressure and open the lid.
  • Place the eggs in a bowl with iced water for 5 minutes.

How to peel hard boiled eggs

You’ll be surprised how easy it is to peel these eggs!
After the eggs are cooked and cooled, crack them from the top or by rolling it on the counter. The peel should come off easily without sticking to the egg white.

How many eggs can you boil in Instant Pot

I usually like to make sure that all the eggs fit in one layer. So you can easily cook 12 eggs at a time.

How long do hard boiled eggs last

If you don’t use the eggs right after cooking, it is always better to refrigerate them. That way they can last for up to 7 days.
